Migblock, Through Alpha and Beta.
Migblock has come so far.. To honor the end of Beta, here are some highlights from the Game's Alpha and Beta stages.
Alpha
The earliest version we could find was Migblock Alpha 1.2.0 which was released on the 20th of September 2018. To this date, it has 10 Downloads.
As you can see, the textures were rather awful.
Here's a list of all Alpha releases still accounted for.

By the end of the Alpha-Phase, the Game had grown significantly. However the Textures were still awful.
Not much else can truly be said about Alpha, the project files got messier and messier and the Game became bloated.
And so, leaving the Game at a decent place, with a minimalistic and rudimentary Crafting-System and a comfortable assortment of Block-Types, the project was lovingly moved on from near the beginning of 2019. But it would later be returned to.... [Fade to black..] ..
Beta
Roughly 2 years later, after 1 or 3 months of 2021 had passed, work on a Powerful Voxel-Engine had begun. It featured infinite Build-Height, as it loaded Chunks horizontally as well as vertically rather than just horizontally. It was named "Tendril" and was designed to work in a Client Server environment, so that Multiplayer could be implemented.
And after some testing a Launcher was made to keep Players up-to-date, and the first release was well.. released.
Not much is recorded about the Super-Duper early Beta stages up until about beta 2.0 and so on. This is one of the first Screenshots ever to be taken of the Game's Beta-Phase.

The first ever "Gaming Session" started on a weekend at 7PM and ended at 3AM, a total of 8 hours.. The Game was a success.

The Beta-Phase kicked off swiftly and hours and hours were lost as casualty to the Game's constant improvements. With each Update the Game became better and better, with it's Meta growing hugely.
Farms which simulated in unloaded chunks on servers were added in Beta 3.0.
Day-Cycles, Seasons, Torches and a huge performance boost was added in Beta 4.0.
Then in Beta 5.0 the Game was overhauled with new Textures, Graphics and a rewrite of the Tendril Engine.
Then in Beta 7.0, along with a phenomenal amount of improvements, new water graphics and a trial run for an Animal-System was implemented.
And that's just about it for the Beta-Phase's story, many features were implemented along with lot's of improvements and optimizations.
With that the Beta-Phase has ended. Lot's of feedback and information has been gathered from the community and play testers. We're very very excited to start working on the next phase of the Game's development. Taking all that we've learned, we hope to build something truly special.
